Military Wife
Beside my soldier I will stand
Though tears will fall from my eyes
My love will never fade away
A life as a military wife isn't easy
But it is worth every tear, every
Sad day, and every sleepless night
Becuase I know our love is strong
and will last a lifetime
Some people do not support the cause,
Some people do not agree
But what they do not see is that
These men and women fight so that
We can be free
No matter what they say I will always
Stand tall and say. "I am proud to be a
Military wife"

DeleteWow, I want to thank you for holding strong on your special duties as a military wife. I understand the hardships having a military family can be I have two brothers and my dad who were all in the military and it was difficult. I want to also say thank you to your brave husband; not everyone can go out and risk their life for many strangers he will never meet just to keep all of us free. And finally I loved your poem your wrote it was so sweet and I could feel the love you really have for him. Congrats on your marriage and I wish you two best wishes for your many years to come.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet!!! It is so hard being a military wife. You always wonder about your husband's safety and I know you miss him when he is away. What he does is so brave! You are right about even if someone does not support the cause we should always support the people. I hope you have a wonderful, long, and happy life together!
